On Sunday we had a few things planned that made for a busy day....but Bailey had an absolute blast! First off I took her to a birthday party...It was at River Roll in riverside and it was Baileys first time skating! I myself had not been on skates since maybe middle school....before arriving at the party I was not for sure if I would be skating with her...but it ended up that I did! :) Bailey took to skating very well!!! It didn't take us very long to figure out that it was easier for the two of us if we didn't hold hands....it cut down on the falling! Basically after a couple times around she had it down and she loved it from then on! She is really excited this week because another one of her friends is also having her party at the rink this weekend, so we get to go back. Being at the skating rink brought back such memories from my childhood...I remember when we used to have school skating parties and they still played the SAME games that we played then....such as the limbo and the Dice game. We just had a really fun time!
Then right after the party we met Abby and my mom downtown at the Sprint Center to go to Disney on Ice. It was also a very good time. We had been a couple years ago when Princess on Ice came so unfortunately Bailey was waiting for the Princesses and they weren't there.....but she still had a good time! It was very cute! I am just so happy that we are able to have such fun days like that and I look forward to many more! Here are a few pics from the day....
